Freya + Co. was founded to help mission-driven organizations lead with purpose, plan with clarity, and act with confidence. Whether supporting nonprofits, foundations, or government programs, our approach centers equity, community, and systems-level thinking.
We create space for clients to feel known, challenged, and supported—by a partner who brings both technical strength and relational warmth.
Freya + Co. is named for Freya, the Norse goddess of abundance, war, love, and creativity. She represents the balance of fierce wisdom and generous spirit—the kind of energy we bring to strategic planning, facilitation, and systems change.
The name is also personal.
What’s in a name?
I lived in Bergen, Norway for two years as part of an international graduate program in health promotion. I earned my degree there, speak Norwegian, and was honored to receive a Fulbright scholarship. That experience shaped how I think, how I work, and how I lead.

Liz brings over two decades of experience leading strategy, evaluation, fundraising, and operations across sectors. She is known for her clarity, compassion, and ability to bring diverse stakeholders into meaningful collaboration.
