Evaluation for Systems Change in STEM Education

Challenge
The C-Justice initiative at Bellevue College brings together community colleges across the western United States to integrate climate justice and civic engagement into STEM education. With multiple institutions, faculty teams, and evolving program models involved, the initiative needed more than a traditional evaluation. Leaders needed a way to align partners around shared goals, track progress across institutions, and turn insights into learning that could strengthen the work over time.
